The cherry smoothie I’m making this year. As we all know, cherry season is fleeting, and it is tres important to make the most of it. In this case I’ve tripled-down on all things red – cold-brewed hibiscus water (easy to make), blood oranges, and plump, sweet cherries.
It may seem obvious, but if you freeze your cherries, go ahead and pit them first. Just a reminder. I also tend to freeze the banana component of smoothies. For this version, everything goes into the blender – cherries, bananas, nut butter, etc. – and fire it up.

To Make a Cherry Smoothie
